Hello dear readers! Sorry for my absence!
I will return to album reviews soon, but I thought I’d try out a little idea: semi-retro reviews. See, the way I see it, “retro games” were released before the turn of the millennium. It follows that retro gaming sites and magazines primarily focus on those games. Similarly, “contemporary games” were released after 2007/8ish, and make up the vast majority of games covered by all those famous websites and whatnot.
Are you thinking what I’m thinking? There’s a big gap there, right? The only reviews for most games released between 2000 and 2007 are from the game was first released. So, I thought, I should write new reviews for kind of old games.
I’ll still keep up with game and music reviews and whatnot, but I’ll try to get some focus on my semi-retro reviews. You know, if I don’t get slack again.
If only I had the skill to host this on an independent website.
